Vegan truffles!

I seem to be the last person to hear about XOX Truffles, but just in

case I'm not alone...

 

I was the lucky recipient of a large box of incredible vegan truffles by

XOX Truffles in Oakland. They make three vegan flavors. Some of the

best chocolate I have ever had. I really don't deserve this big box but

I'm sure not sending them back!

I am going to make the super-ultimate sacrifice and bring them for

dessert tomorrow, to celebrate our New Year's Leafleting event:

If you're not leafleting with us tomorrow, I recommend trying some of

these truffles and giving the company some support for their vegan

products. Think Valentine's Day...right around the corner.

Well, for people not near Oakland and XOX Truffles, if you have a Safeway's near you, they have vegan truffles too! Check out the "O Organics" line, and look for truffles. While not labelled vegan per se, the ingredients are vegan and the truffles are delicious. They are also available at the XOX shop in North Beach (SF), practically

across the street from Juicey Lucy's. You can get them singly, if you're

like me and can't be trusted with large amounts of chocolate! :-)

I did not know about the XOX truffles but I did about the ones from Safeway. The organic Trader Joe's truffles are also vegan ( bought them for Christmas, and the box mysteriously emptied of its content in a few days. Spoooky... ) But it'll be great to taste one of those from XOX ( as the Truffle Stealing gnoms helped themselves in my Trader Joe's box).Look forward to the dinner !Sandrine " Justice is not a finite commodity, nor are kindness and love.
