Guest guest
I had the luck to walk in just as the donuts were coming out of the " oven " (of course, we all know they really came out of the deep-fryer, but hey), and I bought several to share. They were okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. The people were super-nice, though, and if donuts are your thing and you've been missing them, they'll probably hit the spot. Me, the one or two times a year my partner wants donuts, I'll do what I usually do -- make up some sweet bread dough and fry them up myself. Guest guest
" ...They were okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. " I must respectfully disagree with this assessment. I tried one of these donuts at Fellini's coffee bar. It was a glazed one, cake type. I thought it was excellent. Really fresh, no strong oily taste. Now I just need to keep myself away from them, except on rare occasions. Karen

Disagree all you like. We're not likely to have the same opinions on everything. Now, if you tell me you don't like Tartex or something, THEN I'll say you're nuts. ;-) >I tried one of > these donuts at Fellini's coffee bar. Guest guest
Ditto!. I ate 1.5 as a reward for completing a stressful interview this p.m., and thought they were basicly the best donuts I have had in years ( vegan for 12+, so obviously that includes only the nutro and other prepackaged types). I was dissappointed that there were no chocolate ones available, but pleased that they were made from " all organic " ingriedients. Vegan equivalent of Krispy Kreme for now, and glad that they are not open late at night and don't have a drive through window!!! Guest guest
I've had two of these donuts now - one chocolate frosted, and one some kind of cinnamon glazed cake. Both were pretty good for a donut, great for a vegan donut. Nowhere near as delicious as Seattle's fantastic Mighty-O vegan donuts, but until they open a bakery in the Bay Area, these donuts are fine by me. They're " normal " enough that you could bring them to the office and share them with your non-vegan coworkers (but why would you? :-) -Kim ShelleyMS wrote on 4/19/07 9:39 PM: > Ditto!.
