Our summer season is about to start and we need a fun, flexible, experienced

cook (or food lover) to facilitate our gourmet vegetarian camp cookouts! This

is a great opportunity to spend time in nature, meet people from all over the

world and make a bit of cash at the same time!

The ideal person for this job:

A great facilitator with a love of cooking who is also familiar with the

natural history, flora and fauna of

both the Yosemite National Park and Inyo National Forest areas. Knowledge of

Joshua Tree would be a

plus. While our trips are technically unguided, we envision this position being

filled by a dynamic

" people person " who would enjoy being a resource for a group of up to

36 curious, eager and hungry

travelers.

 

The Details

 

This is a seasonal job during the months of June through October.

 

The most common route you would work would be to Yosemite but the job could

also entail a run down the California Coast (Big Sur, San Simeon Beach) to Los

Angeles and Joshua Tree. Availability for/Working at

Burning Man would also be required.

 

We run two versions of a Yosemite Trip: 3 day, 4 nights and 2 day, 3 nights.

Our 3 day trips depart

every Monday night and return every Friday morning. The 2 day trips depart two

Fridays per month and

return Monday mornings.

 

All trips will be on our custom designed, comfortable sleeper coaches and

accompanied by a driver.
