Guest guest
Hi folks Google desktop threw up this article for me, How to Volunteer, and I thought it would be so timely to pass on with a link to BAVeg Volunteer Openings. :-) From my own personal experience, I've found volunteering with BAVeg has definitely been a great way to hone skills that have helped me at work. Likewise, skills from work have helped me with BAVeg. Volunteering with a cause or organization that you feel passionately is something that everyone should do! http://www.wikihow.com/Volunteer http://bayareaveg.org/volunteer.htm Cheers, Tammy If slaughterhouses had glass walls, we'd all be vegetarians. - Linda McCartney Volunteer this Summer with BAVeg! Guest guest
Tammy, Thanks for forwarding that. I'm a recent transplant to San Francisco (from the Peninsula), and I'm on the lookout for some volunteering opportunities. I've done the letter-writing, and I'm not much of a protester or a leafletter. Can the people on this list suggest some volunteering opportunities? I'll summarize the responses. It would be a good resource to have around, too.
