Guest guest
Sunday, September 23rd is the next Now and Zen Concert in Golden Gate Park: http://www.radioalice.com/pages/701539.php Joss Stone will be performing her most excellent music. She recently spoke up for animals: http://blog.peta.org/archives/2007/03/joss_stones_new.php James Blunt and The Gin Blossoms are also playing. Maybe they're veg. If they're not, maybe they'll stumble across one of our fliers and become veg--you just never know when you'll reach someone! And that is why you should consider using this concert as an opportunity to help animals. Concerts like this are nice because people tend to go in early to get a good spot, and then they sit there, bored, waiting for the concert to start...but wait, what's this Vegetarian Starter Kit they were given at the entrance? Should they read that? It does look interesting, doesn't it? And before you know it they've learned about animal suffering and they're on the path to veg. All thanks to you. If the thought of animals in pain upsets you, this is the way to stop it and to make yourself feel better at the same time. Leafleting is sort of like Prozac, but cheaper and you don't need a prescription. A good hour of outreach will give you a boost of energy and self-confidence. You'll feel good about doing something instead of sitting at home and feeling bad about doing nothing. We'll be leafleting from 11:00 a.m. to noon and would love an extra pair of hands! Please e-mail me if you can help. Thanks! Alex
