Guest guest
Join us on the upcoming Saturday to celebrate the last day of summer at Bay Area Vegetarians Native Garden Vegan Food Party in Pacifica (10 minutes south of SF). Vegan Food Parties are designed for like-minded individuals to share good food and conversations. The emphasis is on preparing your favorite vegan dishes to share, or you can be bold and "animal test" your new recipe on hungry volunteers. I know Ann is planning to make a cottage pie (it is like a lentil shepards pie with mashed potatoes on top), and you're welcome to bring any type of food (appetizer, side dish, green salad, dessert, etc) you like, as long as it's vegan. Each person should bring a dish that provides 6-8 generous servings, your own place setting, and ingredient/recipe list. If you're into gardening (or admiring gardens), we'll also have an opportunity to tour their Native Garden. Ann & Reeba live very near San Pedro Park (where we've had a VFP before) and there is an optional no-host hike planned afterwards. (See, we DO do more than just eat or leaflet.) What: Native Garden + Vegan Food PartyWhere: PacificaWhen: 9/22/07 Saturday, 12:00 pmHost: Reeba & AnnRSVP: http://www.evite.com/app/publicUrl//vfp092207 Full Details: http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.php?EID=1576#1576 You'll find all details in the link above, and if you'd kindly RSVP on the evite, we'll be sending out complete directions to their home. Remember, both veg & non-veg people are welcome! So if you have friends who always ask "What do you eat?", bring them along to our VFP!
