Guest guest
*********************************************************** Hi folks, I'm sorry for not posting about the January Happy Bamboo dinner sooner. It is normally scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of the month, but there is a chance I may have a work conflict this month (the first time this has happened in the approx 2 years I've been hosting dinners...), so if that happens (and I will find out tomorrow),I can either move it to the 3rd Tuesday (January 15th) or if folks would like to still attend this week, I can make the reservation and ya'll can meet up there on your own. Please let me know which you'd prefer in your RSVP... I will repost Monday night. Thanks for your patience... ************************************************************* Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' " Happy Bamboo dinner " in San Jose on Tuesday January 8, 2007 at 7pm . For more information about the dinner and the food at Happy Bamboo , please go to the Bay Area Vegetarians' events calendar at: http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.htm?EID=1775#1775 Happy Bamboo is located just off the 85 freeway at Camden (at Branham) in San Jose . You can read the outstanding reviews of Happy Bamboo in the Ultimate Guide, at: http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=330 The dinner is open to both veg*ns and non-veg*ns, but please note, that if you will be sitting with the group, only VEGAN food can be ordered. Happy Bamboo is about 95% vegan, so that will not be difficult. I would appreciate getting an exact count of who will be attending, so that the staff can be prepared to accommodate us. Please RSVP by 12 noon on the day of the dinner, either by replying to this email or at: http://www.bayareaveg.org/rsvp.htm?id=1775 If it's possible, please try to carpool to the dinner. You may email me and I will try to connect you with others in your area. Also, if you would like to bring home leftovers (though we never seem to have any) or order food to-go, please try to bring a re-usable container. If you haven't yet signed a petition for the humane farming initiative, I'll have petitions with me, or if I end up not being able to attend this month (see above), I'll try to have someone there who has petitions, so please come to sign and enjoy some really good food.
