Souley Vegan in Oakland closed for remodeling until next week

The note on the front door said closed for remodeling until 3/24, but since their regular schedule is Tueday through Sunday, I think they may be closed until 3/25. Since my review had said the interior was "funky and lacking in ambience," I'm hoping a transformation is in the works. The food was very good. Bob

Does anyone know if Souley Vegan has reopened yet?

I was there a week ago Tuesday at about 4:30pm and was disappointed

that they were closed. No activity and the entrance had a steel

security drop-bar curtain over it, but the furniture was all in place.

It was the first time I was there and missed it on my first walk down

the street. I only noticed it after I crossed the street and was able

to see their sign above the entrance. I ended up stopping by Golden

Lotus and grabbing a quick bite. Oh, well. . . .

 

I will be in their area again Monday, 3/31 and will let you all know if

there are any changes.
