Guest guest
Hi Rosalind, Thank you for letting everyone know about this extremely sickening exhibit. I went to the Art Institute of San Francisco and can't find any mention of it. Could they have taken it down because of community outrage? Also, I could not find out how to email them, so if anyone has a contact email, that would be great. The only email I could find for them was for admissions: aicasfadm I don't think admissions would be the right department to contact. Thanks again for your post, Stephanie

An article in Examiner.com says the Art Institute stands by the exhibit - called, " Don't Trust Me " - and it is going to be up until May 31: http://tiny.cc/5xXUe Karen
Guest guest
All, Can someone fill me in here on why there is 'such' a reaction to this exhibit? Did we contact the artists to know what his intentions/motives are for showing this? Did the artists actually 'killed' these animals himself and video tape this? Or did he just went to a place where this happen (a slaughter house of some sorts) and took video from there? How is this different than the PETA " Meet your meat " and or many of the other films that are shown on TV etc of animal slaughter, shown by " animal loving organizations " ? -Leroy On Mon, Mar 24, 2008 at 09:42:26PM -0000, Karen <karen wrote: > " Could they have taken it down because of community outrage?
