I saw on a mailing I received from Sugar Beet Sweets that they were selling

their cakes at V

Restaurant. I did a search and found a website that made it seem like there's a

new vegan

restaurant with this name about to open up in SF, but I couldn't find an address

or any other

info. Does anyone know anything about it?

Thanks,

Francie

Hi all,

Francie and Winnie, thanks for posting information about this! If anyone is

regularly in the Mission area, please keep an eye out and report back as

their website seems to indicate that's where they want to open.

Loving Hut is opening in SF later this month, too. Guide updates are still

in progress.

According to the owner of Sugar Beets, V restaurant is STILL looking

for a restaurant location,,,, preferrably in the Mission District.

Restaurants like REd Crane in the Richmond District, and Yum Yum in

the Mission, have to closed their ESTABLISHED busy restaurant due to

rent increase. So, if you want to have a steady location, you have

to BUY the building.

The original Owner of Imagine foods-veggie Robert, lost his lease in

his successful restaurant in Kansas... He worked so hard to make it

happen...He quit his restaurant career to make " rice Milk " products..

By the way, Mission District is getting more and more expensive

yuppie restaurants. I prefer mom and pop, hole-in-walls inexpensive

places. Rent might go for $8k per months in SF, not including

utilities, labor, kitchen equipment, insurance, blah blah blah,,,

Sorry if I " m a little long winded, but maybe someone can learn from

other people's ventures
