Guest guest
Hello all, My feet are as wide as my love for animals. Do any of my wide footed sisters out there have any recommendations for brands of shoes? I'd love to find some nice looking boots to wear this winter. Thanks, Francie
Guest guest
I also have extra wide feet. I have not been able to find wide enough shoes in the vegan places, but Payless does have many "vegan" (i.e., nonleather) shoes and boots with the "wide" option in all sizes. I would prefer to give my business to a vegan store, but I have never found wide shoes in one. Mooshoes.com (based in New York) has gorgeous stylish vegan shoes, but they come in just "regular" width (not even half sizes; their shoes are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc.) and they're more expensive than I can afford. Guest guest
Dear Francie,The only wide vegan sneakers that I have been able to find to fit my wide(perfectly proportioned;-) feet is the Nike Pegasus. It is sometimes available at Nike town San Francisco, it is easy to make the mistake and not get the WIDE ones, so double-double make sure especially the first time. I know it is not a "shoe", but it is very attractive to be comfortable and sportive, you may even smile more than with more "stylish" ones.Anyway that is not what you asked for and from the wrong sex, Sorry:-)PeaceSam(your bro:-)On Oct 28, 2008, at 1:50 PM, franciesalle wrote:Hello all,My feet are as wide as my love for animals. Guest guest
Hi Francie- I've had good luck with the vegan shoestore mooshoes.com They carry some large women's sizes and may be able to help you find wide shoes. I got some very nice wide Aerosoles knee-high boots recently and I'm loving them. -Kim
