Guest guest
Posted a review of " Vegan Fire & Spice " by Robin Robertson at my blog: http://www.soulveggie.com There's also some sample recipes from many of her books that can be modified to no fat at: http://www.robinrobertson.com/Recipe_Main.htm (like, bake the chickpea burgers, use water to stir-fry, roasted sesame seeds instead of sesame oil, etc.) FYI, Mark

If you're familiar with it, how does this new " spicy " book compare to her 1998 " Some Like it Hot " ? Thanks, Colleen ______________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing. Guest guest
In answer to the question about a comparison between this and " Some Like it Hot " , I found all but one of the recipe names listed in the review below in my " Some Like it Hot " cook book. The first sample item was only slightly tweeked. " Some Like it Hot " is out of print. I don't know if there are more recipes in the new one. Also, the orignal was billed as vegetarian not vegan, but I do not know if it contained any non-vegan ingredients. Guest guest
Thanks, Aly. I know in the past, or at least it's my understanding, that she wrote her recipes vegan and gave lacto-veg options in some cases, probably as a marketing thing... but unlike so many multi-option recipes, it was the vegan version that was really the base one. I was just curious about the two because it seemed like they'd cover an awful lot of similar territory. But... if we're finally in an age where we can directly market to vegans and not just broader vegetarians, then alone is a good sign, IMHO -Colleen , Alyza <alyzas wrote: > > In answer to the question about a comparison between this and " Some Like > it Hot " , I found all but one of the recipe names listed in the review > below in my " Some Like it Hot " cook book.
