Guest guest
Check out happycow..you can search for vegetarian restaurants in your area and they should list pizza places: http://www.happycow.net/ Usually it is local pizza places that carry vegan pizzas and you will have better luck in major cities (specifically New York, Oregan and San Francisco). Some pizza places will sell you a pizza without cheese (this is what we normally do). But you need to check to see if their crust have diary in them. Most do (we found a local one that carries a vegan crust). Guest guest
I’m told there is a restaurant in Melbourne (Australia) that does use Cheezly vegan cheese on pizzas. I don’t know if Cheezly is available in the States yet, it’s a UK product, but we can get it here in Australia and it’s pretty good. I’ve used it to make homemade pizzas, but in truth I’ve grown used to the pizza without cheese and I like it that way. You taste the flavors of the sauce, spices and veggies more. When we have birthday parties at my in-laws, they often order pizzas for all, and get me a vegetarian one without cheese. They have tried it too and admit it’s really nice.
