Guest guest
Just curious what everyone uses to track their daily intake...for several reasons my food consumption is quite complicated and I struggle to track everything I need to adequately. So, I've tried Fitday.com and nutritiondata.com but things weren't.....organized enough for me. Thanks for sharing!
Guest guest
I use DietPower. You can see it in action in this blog post I put together for the Eat To Live crew: http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog/2008/01/29/eat-to-live/ -Erin http://www.vegandonelight.com - uwponine Wednesday, March 05, 2008 6:27 PM Software for Tracking Food Intake...... Guest guest
I use Spark People, but that's pretty similar to FitDay so might not do it for you. I do like the layout and "feel" a bit better, though (also, I haven't used it in years). Debbie uwponine wrote: Just curious what everyone uses to track their daily intake... Guest guest
I really rely on Fitday.com — because you can customize it! I don’t just use the foods they already have in their huge database, but I use Excel spreadsheets to calculate the calorie contents of the meals I most frequently consume, then I add those complete meals to Fitday. Now all I have to do is go in and choose 1 breakfast, a snack, one lunch, another snack, one dinner, and perhaps a dessert. I don’t know if I can send attachments to this list, but I’ll try to attach a screen shot of one of my menus from Fitday to show you what I mean. Picking from my custom list is quick and easy! The only reason my descriptions tend to have a “0” in the front of them is to make them sort to the top of the list so the things I eat most often are easier to find.
