I have a recipe for peanut butter-chocolate chip cookies that I love.

Not fat-free, so I'm just providing a link:

http://www.veganconnection.com/recipes/choc_cookies.htm

You could leave out the chocolate chips (but I know I couldn't!)

Then it doesn't belong on this list, I'd think, no?

Very good point. Why go here for a non-vegan, non-fatfree recipe? If

I weren't so tired, I would have questioned that myself.

You've had the week from hell. Glad to see you posting, and I hope

everyone in your neighborhood is okay.

Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette

2 T mashed roasted garlic

2 T balsamic vinegar

2 T mustard, any kind

1/4 cup water, or as much as you need for the consistency you like

salt and pepper to taste (optional -- I usually leave it out)

Mix it all together and pour it on salad. :-)

Thanks so much, Serene. The recipe looks delicious, and your support

means so much to me.

Also, re: your " So grateful for these lists " post: It's an honor to be

one of your favorite lists because you are one of my favorite

listmembers. Believe me, I know fat prejudice and self-hatred.

Anyone (or, well, anyone my size) who has a blog called " Fatfree Vegan

Kitchen " has to be prepared for the surprised looks when people meet

you in person. I actually developed the pat introductory line " The

blog's fat-free, but I'm not " to have something to say when I get that

look. Your messages are always a reminder that beauty and health come

in every weight. I'm so glad you're here.
