Guest guest
I'm new to the group. Love the recipes being posted. My name is leona and I'm from the Big Island of Hawaii from the City of Hilo. I turned 50 this year, have a dog and a cat. I Love to garden, quilt, jewelry making, create my own recipes and writing. I have always been interested in Vegetarian meals. I've learned so much on using grains, beans and the different type of veggies that are available to me. I have 2 health food stores in my part of the city that is limited to ingredients, products that I want but some of the local stores are starting to carry organic, natural products and produce. I met only one person who is a friend of my sister that is a vegetarian. I'm not at the full stage of vegetarian yet. I do have at least 18 meals a week that is whole vegetarian meals. I'm sure that I will enjoy this group and am looking forward hearing from you. I am known in my other groups as Madame Ladybug because of my gardening skills. Thank you for letting me join your group. Madame Ladybug Hawaii

If you ever run out of recipes here, you can search at http://www.fatfreevegan.com for tons more. I've never made a recipe there that wasn't a hit with my family. Well, maybe the banana vinaigrette, but hey. :-) I may be calling on your gardening expertise at some time. Welcome to the group, Madame Ladybug! :-) Serene

I'm not Madame Ladybug, but I saw a yummy-looking one last night. It's a feast food, since it contains coconut milk, but there's no oil or animal products: The video: http://everydaydish.tv/Videopages/Tropical_Haupia.html The recipe: http://everydaydish.tv/Recipe%20Pages/Haupia_recipe.html Serene
