Are they different from just plain ol' pumpkin seeds in some way or if I see pepitas in the store (which I might - it sounds Spanish and we have a huge Mexican population here and I've been slowly exploring their foods) can I expect plain ol' pumpkin seeds? In my experience, they're more likely to label the ones that have been shelled as pepitas, but that may not be the case for everywhere. Oh, good for me! I'm lazy and prefer them shelled. :-) I have some in their shells and they've been sitting there for ages. I might even need to throw them out now. I thought I would eat less if I had to shell them but it turned out I ate so many less that I didn't eat them at all. bad me!
