Guest guest
It made me smile when I saw the post saying that you had ,"Breakfast 1, Breakfast 2, Lunch 1.....etc." Are you familliar with "Tolkein"? Sadly, yes. :-) Well, not a LOT of hair -- doesn't everyone have a little hair on their toes? :-) ObFatfreeVegan: I made a *wonderful* fat-free miso dressing yesterday, but I was in a hurry and didn't write down the ingredients. I *think* this is what was in it, but I'll make it again soon to make sure: Fat-free Miso Dressing 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar 2 Tbsp. water 1 heaping tsp. light miso 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. minced garlic (I used a cube from the freezer) 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger (I used half a cube from the freezer) It was really good! You're joking, right? I thought only men had hairy feet? (Though I may be the hairless freak since I grow leg hair like Alice the Goon - none on my thighs or upper calves. It's all from mid-way between my knee and ankle down. When I don't shave my legs and I wear a skirt and someone notices (the hair is sparse so that doesn't happen that often), they get *really* confused and ask me why I shave half my legs.) I thought only men had hairy feet? No, only *mammals* have hair on their feet. I think if you look closely enough, you'll see hair on your big toe, at the very least. It may be fine, but it's almost certainly there. :-) Serene

I thought only men had hairy feet? I had hair on my toes until hypothyroidism hit hard and I lost hair just about everywhere. I wonder if that's the reason why I have almost no leg hair. And my gyn accuses me of shaving even though I don't (sorry if that's TMI!). In the last few years I've started losing hair on my head, too, and have to be careful to comb my hair certain ways to hide the bald spot (or wear scarves when I'm too lazy.) Both my parents take synthroid due to thyroid failure but the doctor says I'm just fine because my hair isn't dried out and my TSH is 4.43 which is in the normal range. I've stopped insisting that I meet the symptom picture because when I do that, I get the little " hypochondriac " notes in my chart (they're worded a little more subtly but it's pretty clear what the doctor is saying. Plus they look a little uncomfortable when I request a copy of that visit's charts for my home records. I go to a clinic where I usually see a different doctor each visit and I think none of them expect that I will be reading their snide little notes. sigh.) Guest guest
not sure who posted this first....but I tried it and changed things a bit but omg it was the closest to the japanese and thai dressing i have ever tasted. It was awesome! The only change i did was use brown rice miso since that was what I had and added a couple of baby carrots to it! (and of course a bit more garlic. I keep the ginger frozen in the freezer so I always have here in the rv.....it's my new favorite!!!! Yesterday, I blended a prune with the dressing -- it would probably be better if I rehydrated the prune next time, or I may do a chunk of pineapple or something. But still, I love this dressing, and while I'll keep playing with it until it's perfect, my whole family likes it enough not to notice it doesn't have fat in it. Any dressing I can toss the salad with and not have to pass around fatty dressings for the family, I'm happy with. Serene
