Hiya! I'm so random - is there a favorite run-to soup that everyone goes to that is super simple?

I LOVE my 5 min pea soup using the (Bullet) blender:

hot water warmed in the cup for the blender (3 mins) - then handful of frozen peas - nutritional yeast - pinch of salt and pepper - delish!!!

i also add frozen broccoli :)

I would love for new ideas for quick soups :) thank you all!!

Anmry,

I'll have to try your recipe - I love a quick soup. When I'm home alone for dinner, in the summers I often have a really quick summer squash soup.

Steam a couple of summer squashes, blend the squashes and steam water together with a hand blender, add a little salt and pepper if desired, maybe some garlic, and then cut an ear of fresh corn directly into the soup. I love the cool crunchiness of the corn in the hot smoothness of the squash. My girlfriend who taught me this recipe serves it cold, with a little dill on top. If I'm hungrier, I will add a cooked potato to the mix.

Enjoy!
