Guest guest
Hey there all, while we're on the topic of peanut butter and it's high fat content, I wanted to let you all know I received my shipment of PB2 in. When prepared by the directions (2 tbsp powder mixed with 1 tbsp water), it's AMAZING. You can't tell the difference! I kis you not. The consistancy is AMAZING and because it's 100% peanuts, just naturally and non-chemically pressed into powder form so the peanut oil (which is the big offender) is gone, it tastes JUST like natural peanut butter. I am VERY happy with it and because I am such a big peanut butter fan, I will now be able to have some peanut butter every once in a while and not feel bad about it at ALL. 2 TBSP of regular natural peanut butter = 16 grams of fat 2 TBSP of PB2 natual peanut powder = 2 grams of fat WOOHOO!! A very good, natural alternative to it's fatty doppleganger.... Amie P Before you print think about the ENVIRONMENT Please don't print this e-mail unless you really need to. Those who readon-line or get the digest don't see any of the graphics.Even without seeing the itemized list, people should realize that peanutbutter is almost *all* fat. Even on the Richard Simmons Foodmover, based on the American Diabetic Association exchange plan, he alwayscounted it as a fat exchange, not protein. ALL nuts and nut butters, notjust peanut.Sue in NJ

Guest guest
>Where do you buy this? Here's the official web site: http://www.bellplantation.com/ and you can order from the source if your local stores don't carry it. It looks like it's a 4-jar minimum from this site. I've read mixed reviews about this stuff. Some sings its praises, others say Elmer's Glue has a better smell and taste. I guess the only way to find out for yourself is to try some. Guest guest
I'm wondering if reduced fat peanut flour is the same thing, and substantially cheaper.... lcc Venus Cruz wrote: Where do you buy this? And without the added sugar, as well. I don't know, but it sounds very possible. I've never seen reduced-fat peanut flour; where do you buy it? Guest guest
Hi Serene I found a few bulk places online for "defatted peanut flour", most for 10-27 lb bags, one had a canister, I think. Im going to get the canister and try it out. Its whats left over after they press the nuts for peanut oil. Are there any ingredients to your peanutbutter powder besides peanut meal? This is really intriguing, and hopefully a real coup for us peanut butter lovers. Have you tried mixing that powder in with some mashed garbanzos to make a peanuttbutter hummous? I bet that would make a killer sandwich with sliced dill pickles! Clear skies!
