Guest guest
Hi, Kind New Friends ... The first week of my new life is winding down. I'm giving myself a treat tomorrow by buying a blender to enjoy my first tofu smoothie. Anyone care to share their favorite recipe? (I'll toast the group in your honor!) While writing, I found a fat free soy milk yesterday that'll become my staple. This eating healthy stuff is such fun! Thanks and have a great weekend yourselves! Guest guest
Hi Ernie, Congratulations on completing your first week! As far as smoothies go, I normally use a variety of fresh or frozen fruit depending on what I have on hand. I always try to use frozen bananas (frozen without the peel) since they add sweetness and creaminess to the smoothie. I add either a 100% fruit juice or whatever milk I have on hand and ground flax seeds. That's my smoothie. Oh yeah, I also add raw carrots and beets when I have them. Guest guest
I like my smoothies with just fruit (can be frozen) and possibly a splash of pomegranate juice or water. I don't add soymilk or tofu. - slideman_1948 Friday, August 01, 2008 10:00 AM Smoothie 101 Hi, Kind New Friends ...The first week of my new life is winding down.
