Since it seems to be a slow day on our , I don't feel quite so guilty about posting this:

My blog is nominated for a VegNews Veggie Award, and I'd appreciate your vote. The category is Blogs, and it's somewhere in the middle of the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=2fkh_2bW3o9fkbEWraGcnM9Q_3d_3d

Once you take the survey, you have to provide contact info in order for your votes to count. But, you're entered into a drawing for several prizes, so it may be worth it.

Thanks!

Susan

Good. I don't think it's off-topic at ALL, and only a healthy dash of

self-centered. :-) Your site helps a lot of people. And, as my friend

Barb says, " Who tooteth not her own horn, her horn doth not get tooted. "

Which is why I just forwarded this to the 2 McDougall lists, too, like I

do every year.

Congrats on being nominated again.

Thanks, Sue! And thanks to Serene, Nancy, Linda, and everyone else

who voted for me. It's still a big thrill, and though I kind of feel

guilty for being nominated two years in a row, I'd still like to win.

There's no real prize attached, but it'd be nice to see the blog

mentioned in the magazine again. I keep hoping to lure more people

over to the fat-free vegan way of eating. :)

Susan, I think that you and your blog are a national treasure, and

would have hated to have missed an opportunity to vote for you, so

thanks for the alert!

Truly, we have a lot to be grateful to you for... what an amazing

wealth of information, and presented in such a beautiful way, with

lovely photos. In fact, I'm going to have to zip on over there right

now to see if you have anything for Swiss Chard, which is something

that I've so enjoyed growing in the garden this summer! :-)
