Guest guest
I have been making soy milk for my family for over a year now..my husband it not too fond of the taste. We just bought Silk this past weekend for our family camping vacation...my husband LOVES the purchased Silk Soy Milk...I have been searching online and find nothing. Any suggestions? Right now I soak our bean 6-8 hours, use cold water and put in our milk machine, flavor when the milk is still hot and put in the fridge ASAP. How do you it? Guest guest
I've heard that rubbing the skins off of the beans after you soak them helps improve the flavor, but I've never tried it. It just seems like so much work! I add a little bit of sugar and salt to homemade soymilk to make it taste more like store-bought. It still doesn't taste the same, but it's closer. Guest guest
Nicole, Aside from adding a bit of sweetner & salt, as Susan suggested, you might try adding a teaspoon or so of vanilla, depending on how much "milk" you make at a time. I use "SILK Unsweetened" and often add the vanilla to give it a "creamier" taste.
