Vegan monthly meeting at Chaco Canyon?

I haven't heard about that one, and I work at the Canyon! :)

Are there any " live foods " gatherings besides the potlucks and the

class? I seem to have other things going on during the times when

they are. Today I was looking for support and stumbled upon the vegan

monthly meeting at Chaco Canyon. It would be nicer to go to a raw

foods group, but that was helpful.

Thank you!!!

Yep.

We get together once a month, usually at a vegan restaurant, and this

month we voted for Chaco Canyon. I forget the name of the big juice

I got but it was wonderful.

I got a real kick out of Dinky's name.

You will find plenty of support in this group and recipes too.

Hello everyone I am new to the world of veganism. I started dabbling in

it about 6 mths ago but relly have gotten into it after finding Susan's

blog. I love her recipes so much! I am looking for other websites

similar to hers and also a cookbook or two. I am not the best cook so I

need simple recipes and ingredients. Suprisingly though I have found I

am a better cook now that I ahve made the switch! Anyways, any

suggestions. Also I like pictures and recently found that I don't care

for setien.

Nice to meet you all and I look forward to happy recipe shareing!

Hi and welcome! And congratulations on your new diet. I became vegan 4.5 years ago and it was one of the best things I've ever done.Probably the simplest cookbook I have is Sarah Kramer's 'La Dolce Vegan' - I highly recommend it. Another good website packed with vegan recipes is www.veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com.Best wishesalice On 14/12/2008, at 9:19 PM, nocturnal_arg wrote:Hello everyone I am new to the world of veganism. yes the pasta maker is very easy to use and then they have to sit for

awhile...20 minutes.  they take only minutes to cook.  i cooked the linguini i

made in 3 minutes,  good stuff.  i can't wait to make some squash ravioli!

Hi Paula. Wow, am I jealous. I want one of those! Do you have the one

that you crank by hand, or is it electric powered?

Lidia (http://www.lidiasitaly.com/) has a cookbook with tons of pasta-

made-from-scratch recipes. There are step-by-step illustrations,

also. I got it from the library once, and enjoyed it.
