Merry Christmas everyone. I hope Santa came in abundance. Another

great day to be raw. I munched on a few lettuce leaves, had some

cucumber, bell pepper and tomato, and ate a few cherries. I'm going

to Washington Crossing Park today to see the remake of George

Washington's crossing of the Delaware River. I hope everyone has a

beautiful day. Chime in on Christmas if you get a chance.

Thanks, Rich. It's cold and raining here in Sarasota. I'm playing some

off-beat CDs that an indy deejay (wfmu.org) has sent me over the years, and

planning to make myself a feast: The coconut noodle pad thai from Roxanne Klaine

and

Charlie Trotter's gorgeous book called Raw.

Rich,

I went to Washington Crossing Park this past summer to see one of the

outdoor plays there. Only a memory now... burrrr.. so blasted cold

today. Let us know if George makes it across again this year. Have you

even seen the reenactment of the Battle at Monmonth?

Judy,

That really is a beautifully illustrated book, isn't it. It caught my

eye recently on a visit to the local book store. Makes a great gift. A

high class one at that.

Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas Day Everyone!!!

A beautiful day in St. Louis. Lots of sunshine, and not terribly

cold. Based on all the mention of needing natural sunshine, I

should get bundled up and venture out for a walk ... but it is nice

and cozy inside in front of the computer ... :)

Planning on curling up later today with some of my raw food recipe

books and figure out something new and throw together.

cheers

They said the river was unsafe to cross because of some rains this

past week. They aren't kidding when they say a couple thousand

people show up for this reenactment. Could hardly see a thing.

The Battle of Monmouth, that must be NJ. No, but I'd certainly like

to catch it if I hear about it. Where and what month is it?
