Guest guest
Hi Guys, I guess I'm on a roll tonight, because now I have a question. Does anyone have comments about microwaving organic popcorn in a microwave popcorn popper? I have been doing this and spraying Bragg liquid aminos on top. I dilute the Bragg's a bit with water to make it less salty. I have been eating this when I crave something crunchy and I love it. Do you think it is OK to eat popcorn popped in the microwave? From what I can tell, this is a fat-free way to snack. Thanks and peace to all, Linda
Guest guest
Why not? I do this too. And I sprinkle some nutritional yeast on it. rtb1028 wrot > Does anyone have comments about microwaving organic popcorn in a microwave popcorn popper? Guest guest
>Does anyone have comments > about microwaving organic popcorn in a microwave popcorn popper? You mean packets of microwave popcorn that may have " flavor " ingredients, like fake butter or spices, or plain corn kernals that go into a microwave (or air) popcorn popper? I would avoid those packets because of the fat, but see nothing wrong with using your microwave to cook up plain popcorn. > Do you think it is > OK to eat popcorn popped in the microwave? You have people who argue that microwave ovens are the devil's tool, just as people say the same about non-stick pans. I've been using a microwave since the first Radar-ranges in the 1970's and find nothing wrong with them. Sue in NJ
