Hi all. Most of the recipes I see for any fruit crisp have oil listed as an ingredient in the topping along with oatmeal, flour, cinnamon, some chopped nut perhaps. I assume this is to bind and crisp the topping. What are folks on this list using in place of oil in your fruit crisps?ThanksTom -------Tom Fronczak, LICSW, ACSWBoard Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social WorkWayland Wellness Associates120 Wayland Avenue, Suite 4B Providence, RI 02906Office: (401) 431-2953 www.tomfronczak.com "Helping people create powerful and self-fulfilling lives"Email is not a secure communication medium. I've used apple sauce or maple syrup. Here's an example: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2006/02/valentines-dessert-1-fruit-medley.html . It doesn't have exactly the same texture as toppings made with margarine, but it's still good.

Do you have a favorite no-added-fat granola? I haven't use that but I have heard people say that they like it.
