I did notice the second recipe c= alled for bacon though. I wonder if the results were good using Morning Star Farms vegetarian bacon slices? Since they are lighter and have hardly any fat, I don't know if they would hold up to being baked on top, or if they w= ould burn and should be added towards the last few minutes of baking? ~ P_T ~ / If you don't execute your ideas, they die. -Roger von Oech, author and consultant

Guest guest
Never thought of Provalone. Guest guest
Just go to: http://www.fatfreevegan.com http://www.fatfree.com ...and search with the word, ahem, " eggplant. " FYI, Mark http://www.soulveggie.com
Guest guest
I tried to post this yesterday and lost signal, I don't think it sent. If it did, I apologize... I am also following the " Eat Right for Your Type " blood type diet. It recommends veganism for type A's and most vegetarians that I have come across tend to be A's. It's easier on the Type A body, because we have lower levels of acid and can't break down heavy meats, dairy, and fats and ultimately end up storing all as fat. Not sure how many here are type A blood, but for those that are, you should be advised that eggplant is not really recommended for As.
