Guest guest
I'm not sure if the recipes qualify as cheap but The New McDougall Cookbook does have quick and easy recipes. http://www.amazon.com/Mcdougall-Quick-Easy-Cookbook-Delicious/dp/0452276969 I've tried many recipes and they were all " keepers " . I think for cheaper vegan it is important to learn to cook dry beans and make your own milks and to make things from scratch. Try to cut down on " vegan " boxed and frozen stuff. Most of these items in the health store has oil in it if you look. I'm still adjusting to all the cooking so I still buy some canned beans and get vegan milk in the store. Try to find other ways to save in your life to afford the healthy diet. Eating out less definate helps make those groceries easier to fit in the budget and you know for sure if there is any fat in your meals.
