Wow, I left for California and came back a few days later, and no one is posting here!  Where's you-all?  (Terrible English, I know.)California was beautiful and it reminded me of going "raw" and how much we loved it and lost so much weight.  We used to make a roll-up with sprouted whole-grain tortillas (Ezekiel) and fresh local greens, cucumbers, tomato, onion and shoyu - sometimes some raw almond butter but I didn't say that here.  They were SO delicious and hearty!Happy Spring everyone! jennifer trumpjennifur

Dear Jennifer:

I’m new to the group and have been a bit busy the past few days. It’s my sincere hop that I will get an opportunity to post comments in the near future.

Best,

Sid

I was thinking the same thing. Here 's an odd breakfast recipe to get things started again2 cups of your favorite winter squash roasted.75 cup of you fav fruit (fresh or frozen) microwaved for a minute or so.Mix together and eat. I am sure oit would be good with a drizzle of maple syrup but the carmalization of the roasted squash is weet enough for me.-kedaSusan Voisin <susanWednesday, April 29, 2009 10:49 AM Subject: Re: where is everyone?Honestly, I think they're all over on the Eat-2-Live list. You can also make it into a pretty good smoothie of the combination by using

pumpkin, banana (frozen), ice, soymilk, cinnamon, nutmeg and a splash agave

nectar (I also like to sneak in some flax seeds). If you have a vita mix you

should be able to just throw it all in at once... in fact, after the last few

mornings I am SOOOO jealous of you vitamix people!

I have been using canned because it is what I have opened (my cats eat it for

gastro-intestinal problems....) but I imagine fresh cooked pureed or roasted

would be even tastier. If you use canned, just be sure its only pumpkin and NOT

pumpkin pie mix...
