Guest guest
Wow. Thanks for the heads up Mark. I just bought a bottle of Beano. Guess I won't be using that! Judy On Behalf Of Mark Sutton I just found out (although I don't use it), that " Beano " is not vegetarian or vegan.

I've always heard that the liquid form of Beano is vegetarian; it's only the capsules that contain gelatin. Answering my own comment: I tried to find the ingredients list for liquid Beano online, but the official site doesn't list them. Sites like this one-- http://www.herbspro.com/50409/beanodrops75servings.htm --list the ingredients as: Active Ingredients: per 5 drops: Alpha-galactosidase Enzyme (150 GalU) Inactive Ingredients: Water, Sorbitol, Salt, Disodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate It's impossible to tell whether that's a complete ingredient list or not, so anyone thinking of taking it should look at the package, where any fish, wheat, and other allergens must be listed. Guest guest
Oops, sorry Susan. I didn't see you already posted about Beano. I forgot to list the other ingredients in Bean-Zyme: sobitol, cellulose, mannitol, corn starch, vegetable stearic acid and vegetable stearins.
