I used the word 'yummy' once this week but I'm going

to have to use it again! Gene, your email is

delicious;)

My heart skipped a beat just reading this...So I can

only imagine what it will be doing once I apply this

to the date.

Candied gams for dessert...Best idea yet.

Warmly,

Allison

Hi again, Cindi. Yeah, I've been a bit stressed and have put on an extra 4

pounds (over and above the rest) that I didn't need. Ho hum. It happens to us

all, eh? Time to get down to business and get rid of it. Good luck with the

little foster doggie. Ours after 9 years has finally stopped piddling around LOL

Who says some dogs can't be trained!!!!!

Love and hugs, Pat

Wow

What an active little group we've been lately. Very nice! :-)

I've been busy nursing a foster dog back to health and today is the first day I

haven't had to clean up any " messes " (so far). :-)

Welcome to any new members that may have slipped in unnoticed by me.

I've put some pounds back on over the last couple weeks from stress eating. Need

to get back on track on taking care of myself regardless of external influences.

Only a bump on my road to a better me, right?!

Hi Peggy ~

She's doing better day by day. She had just been  pulled from a shelter where

she had been making herself sick from stress this past Saturday, which is also

when I got her. Her people never took her out anywhere so she's a bit leery of

people and being outdoors but my uber-confident, outgoing bully Jack is helping

her see that people and new situations are ok. :-)

Okay you guys. Did I mention how much I love you all? OMG x 1 million. Just made a batch of roasted chic peas finally. Can I say FABULOUS!! love them. I used a little bit of grape seed oil in a baggie with kosher salt and chili powder. My two yr old just ate 1/2 a cereal bowl full. My 4 yr autistic daughter who usually won't eat beans because of the texture tried one and then got another on her own. I just have to make milder flavored one for her. And the icing on the Vegan Fat Free Cake (pun intended), is my Carnivore husband said make more please before we even finished the current batch. He would like snack bags of them for work. I am going to try some asian seasonings next, with just a drop of sesame oil for aroma.
