Reminder About Recipes from Your Stressed-out Moderator

Recipes with refined fat (margarine and oil), discussions of substituting oil for margarine, and recommendations for high-fat processed ingredients (vegan cheese) are not appropriate for this group.  Please remember that the focus here is on a very low-fat vegan diet.  I know that we have some people who, because of serious health issues, MUST eat this way, but lately it seems that they are not speaking up very often. Still, I'd like to keep this group focused on the topic for their sakes.  So if you can help me out by looking for truly low-fat recipes to post (no oil or margarine and only small quantities of nuts), I would really appreciate it.  Here's a link to the recipe guidelines: http://www.fatfreevegan.com/faqs.shtml#allowed .

Patricia: Please don't feel that I was singling you out.  It was an accumulation of several days of posts that caused me to (finally) do my job and remind people to stay on topic. I should have spoken up earlier.

Martha, I know that must be a huge adjustment, and if there's anything we as a group can do to make it easier, just let us know.Susan
