Kitchenaid stand mixers

I've had a kitchenaid stand mixer for several years & the only attachment I have so far is the food grinder. Does anyone have the food grain mill attachment or the shredder cones?I didn't know about the shredder attachments before today. There is an ice cream maker attachment too plus all kinds of pasta accessories. I thought since I already have the food grinder I might get the pasta attachment that fits to it.Does anyone have these or use them?Rhoda Jayne

I used to work for a major retailer and sold quite a few of these (because Kitchenaid was one of our LARGEST sellers - a fast-moving item - when I worked in Store Operations - top sales producer in M & T at the time!).  My understanding is that the Kitchenaid corporation can sell you the attachments separately.

www.kitchenaid.comthey are very helpful and ship right away - need your appliance model and possibly serial number which is on the bottom of the stand. if you still have your booklet from the box, it has the parts numbers for each item needed which makes it even faster.Patricia Squyres

if you need it for the holiday this week, you might look in your yellow pages for "appliance parts and service" and call those that name Kitchenaid to see if they have them in stock now.Patricia Squyres

Thanks everyone! I wondered if anyone used one in vegan cooking. I did find a link for making homemade vegan pasta . I watched some Kitchenaid videos for using those attachments this afternoon.http://www.vegsource.com/articles/bryanna_pasta_maker.htm I've been looking around her site this weekend & saw the cookbooks.
