Is there such a thing as fat free tofu?

Here's a breakfast type recipe idea with or w/o tofu:

In non-stick pan coated lightly with Pam, saute sliced tomatoes (sprinkle with garlic salt and black pepper) and add tofu. Cook until tomatoes are soft, flipping tomatoes over once. Sprinkle with parsley. I would serve this with pita bread (using the bread to scoop it). If you like spice, add red chili flakes. It is even better with chunks of fresh garlic instead of the garlic salt.

What's your favorite fat free breakfast?

I've been doing poorly on my fat free diet and just need to get in the groove and encourage myself.......

I feel the same way Gail. I fell off with my operation. It is hard to get back especially with the holidays. Good luck.Edith--- On Tue, 12/22/09, Gail <ouda64 wrote:Gail <ouda64 fat free tofu? Date: Tuesday, December 22, 2009, 4:33 AM

I've never seen any and I've been buying tofu for decades. It seems unlikely that it ever would be totally nonfat -- it's made from soybeans and soybeans contain some fat.

I don't eat tofu very often these days, but when I do I just use a little bit, like a condiment almost, which minimizes the fat per serving from the tofu.
