Guest guest
Hi, Smoothies are quick n easy with blueberries. Can you please tell me what blueberries do in relation to blood clotting? Thank you. Guest guest
Susan has a delicious Banana Blueberry Bread that I love on fatfreevegan.comThis is one that I particularly love and while it has a thanksgiving feel, I make it year round. Butternut Squash Apple Cranberry Bake 1 large butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes * 2 large tart cooking apples cut into ½-inch thick slices * ½ cup fresh or frozen cranberries * ½ cup brown sugar or Agave * ¼ cup water * 1 Tbsp flour * 1 teaspoon salt * ½ teaspoon ground mace (can substitute ground nutmeg, cinnamon, ground cloves or a combination of all!!!) 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice and peel squash and apples. 2 Put squash cubes in uncreased 7x11-inch baking dish. Place apples on top and then cranberries. Mix the flour, water, salt, sugar, and mace and sprinkle on top. Bake 50-60 minutes, redistributing liquids (basting) during cooking. Serves 8.
Guest guest
Sounds great!Do you serve this as a side dish or dessert? We only get dried cranberries here in NZ, but I guess they'd do. Guest guest
I just toss in a handfull of cranberries in my oat meal. I'll take a cup, microwave them for about 1:30 with a light cover and a few sprinkles of Stevia. Then I'll pour out the juice, and sprinkle the results on top of my cooked oats. you can also just toss the entire mix together and microwave the oats and berries at 1 time. Either way works great. , " christina watt " <christinarick2000 wrote: > > I am trying to find some recipes using cranberries and/or blueberries that are simple.
