Hi, everyone:

Can you give me your input? I'm going to a Trader Joe's for the first time in a

few days [to Columbus, OH area...2+ hours from us] and I'm wondering what your

favorite, must have items are from the store. Our family is vegan...I'll be

looking for items with no dairy and very low to no added oil.

Of course, I'm hoping to bring home some things I can't get locally in our rural

grocery stores, whether it's cooking/baking supplies or main meal items or

whatever. I am a member of a local natural/organic foods coop - supplier United

Natural Foods, so I do have access to lots of great foods, but it is nice to try

new things before buying a large quantity of this through the coop and so that's

also what I'm hoping to do with this trip to Trader Joe's...try some of the

products that you all say are super duper and must try!

Thanks in advance for sharing,

Judy,I'm not sure if you've been to their website, but if you go to http://www.traderjoes.com/products.asp and scroll down you will see a green box with a V in it which is their Vegan symbol. Click that box on the website and a list of their Vegan products will pop up that you can print out. They have that symbol on the package of a lot of their Vegan products, but not all of them. That should cut down half the work for you. We get organic produce from them, but also get their tempeh and baked tofu. They also carry our favorite store bought hummus, the roasted red pepper, but the other flavors are really good too. Have fun!~Victoriajdg682 <jdg682 Sent: Mon, April 19, 2010 5:12:46 PM Trader Joe's

Victoria- Thanks for the Trader Joe's tip. They have really changed their website. I can't wait to go and pick some new things. We don't have a whole foods or other big grocer around here. Trader Joe's is it. There are somethings on the list I did not know about. Thanks again. Toni--- On Mon, 4/19/10, Victoria Christison <victoriachristison wrote:
