Guest guest
a BIG thank you to all of our friends who have helped organise and / or pledged to try and attend the demo in Liverpool tomorrow. Meet at 16:30 - 19:00 on Tuesday, 30 October 2007 at St George’s Hall, William Brown Street, (Access through the south entrance via the Heritage Centre on St George’s Place), Liverpool. It has been wonderful to see so many friends come together to help support the turtles. I am humbled and proud to know that within only a few days, so many Organisations, Networks and Groups, have worked together to help organise the demo at Sir Terry Leahy's lecture in Liverpool tomorrow, and at such short notice. The Mersey Animal Rights Group who are central to this demo, and to whom we owe much gratitude, have kindly been sent supporting banners, posters and leaflets courtesy of Claire at Care for the Wild International. There are so many people who have spread the alert, some of whom we do not know their names. VIVA has also asked for support from their own supporters in that area. Such a good job was done that the organisers have stepped up their security, knowing that people are coming that will not accept animal cruelty being herald as any form of success in business. " ORGANISERS of a high-profile Liverpool event featuring Tesco boss Sir Terry Leahy have stepped up security to beat animal welfare protesters. " by Neil Hodgson, Liverpool Echo So to make sure I do not leave anyone out, To all of you out there who support and help with any part of Tesco Turtle Campaign ............. a BIG thank you for your support We ARE making a difference ! Take care, Paul. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/518761759
