Cheese Sold at Farmers' Markets March 28, 2008 - 7:03am REMINGTON, Va -- Some Virginia-made cheese is being recalled due to salmonella concerns. The cheese was made at the Remington-based Fields of Grace Farm and was sold at the Arlington and Falls Church farmers' markets between Nov. 9 and March 8. The lot number of the "Virginia Aged Cheddar" is 110907C. Fields of Grace is taking the recall action as a precaution in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Anyone who bought the cheese should return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement.
