Villalobos the largest pitbull sanctuary in California located in Santa Clarita needs help RIGHT NOW. There's a bad freeze and snow situation and all the dogs are housed out doors. Dogs are are at the risk of dying as I type this email.

They need blankets, trucks (u-hauls, trailers, ANYTHING), crates, supplies and manpower to take dogs or help gather them into a warm place. Please head over there immedietly or call the numbers below.

The recording says as of now what they desperately need is manpower to help shovel snow (bring a shovel !!!), blankets, check for road closures before coming. Everything must be coordinated through Jessica. Email her at volunteer it will go to her Blackberry and she¢ll get back with you.

Folks: don't call, nor e mail them. They need to be able to call out.I transported 975 quilted blankets along with other supplies to Sylmar stage area this afternoon for the six shelters including Tia and Nancy, because we could not get through freeway 14. WHITEOUT condition aka "You cannot see your hands in front of your face"---The independent commercial driver has this supply in his truck inSylmar (his base) and in close contact with the shelters. They allhave his number. As soon as the condition is better, freeway 14 clear, he will bring the supplies to Basset Rescue in Acton, and every shelter can come to pick up supplies there.---About three weeks ago, we transported 600 plus quilted blankets tofour shelters in the same region. They needed more. We got 975 of them today, but we cannot deliver to them. FREEWAY 14 CLOSED both

ways.-----We tried a helicopter, but the pilot cannot fly in this condition.We tried LA County Fire Department, but they refused citing they need their resource in their area.---Please DO NOT go to the area even you think you have 4 wheel drives. You ARE NOT allowed to go through.---For some folks who got through some how, they are stuck on the road and Tia has to help them "unstuck".---The non-paved road to Tia & Nancy is awful when it rains and snow.
