PLEASE WRITE NOW. Truly, your input is needed.

There are over 800,000 visitors to Green Lakes State Park annually. Folks swim, boat, run, cross-country ski, picnic, walk their dogs there, etc. Most folks who visit are families with kids.

SAY NO TO HUNTING! Hunting with a rifle is bad enough, but bow hunting particularly sucks. And I'd be very worried about public safety. There can be humane wildlife management, and that must be allowed. Contact info is below.------------

Last night, I attended the public meeting on Green Lakes State Park. I would like to thank the rest of you who did as well. I was a bit surprised to see how many at the meeting were pro-hunting, but I was glad to see that the anti-hunting was there as well.The Post-Standard covered the story: http://blog.syracuse.com/east/2009/07/park_patrons_share_their_visio.html.
