Guest guest
Since there is no sugar in this, except the maple syrup of course, does this blend well or when you drink it do you suck out the liquid leaving the ice? I know that happens when I make a drink in the blender with ice without sugar. I asked at Starbucks how they got their blended drinks to hold together and they said it had to have sugar to do it. linda " AJ " <coolcook > Frozen Banana Cappuccino > 1/4 cup brewed espresso coffee > 1 tablespoon maple syrup, optional > 1 banana, peeled and frozen > 1/2 cup low-fat, vanilla soy milk > Ice > > In a blender, puree all the ingredients with ice to taste, and serve. > Makes 2 servings. Guest guest
Hi Linda, I only used 2 cubes and ran the blender till they were almost gone. It didn't seperate at all. I have had others blender drinks do that too. maybe the maple syrup helped, it was good tho. Guest guest
This sounds excellent especially here in the land of coffee. I bet using Starbuck's Coffee Liqueor and/ Banana liqueor in it would be excellent for a hot summer's eve. Mary

Guest guest
You could also skip the ice cubes and use frozen bananas instead. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " AJ " <coolcook wrote: > > Hi Linda, I only used 2 cubes and ran the blender till they were almost > gone. Guest guest
D'oh! Rereading the recipe, I see frozen bananas are already called for. Oh well, I would skip the ice cubes anyway. -Erin
