Guest guest
We love this. Sometimes I saute broccoli, carrots, green peppers, green peas and onions and stir into this at the end. It is great served served over cooked Egg Noodles. Judy Easy quick Alfredo Sauce 1/2 cup butter - Melted 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 cups milk 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper Put all the ingredients into your Vita Mix or food processor and blend until smooth and then heat on stove. Guest guest
This sure does sound wonderful. Thanks for another great recipe, Judy. Speaking of Alfredo sauces, has anyone seen those jars of alfredo sauce in the store? Yeesh, maybe it is just me, but they look gross! *shudders* i'll stick with homemade on pasta with lots of fresh sauted veggies! ~ pt ~ If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet- scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry, more immortal --that is your success. ~ Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862) ~~~~*~~~*~~~> , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > We love this. Guest guest
I cannot stand the look of the white ones or any by ragu, but the barilla sun dried tomato is pretty good if you ask me meg ~ PT ~ wrote: > This sure does sound wonderful. Guest guest
It's not just you. I'm a single, working mom with a 5.5 yr old, which means " no time to cook " after school/work before homework/bath/story/bed. My son LOVES alfredo sauce. I have stopped so many times in front of those jars. I can't even bring myself to buy the Barilla or Newman's and I like their other sauces. They really, really scare me too.
