Guest guest
That is interesting. Not sure if I agree with that sort of descrimination against people of other dietary choices, but still it is interesting to read it is happening. I know I would be out of luck there since half of my house eats meat and my daughter and I do not. Now I got a kick out of the one guy complaining he couldn't find anything to eat in his neighborhood anymore since all the restaurants are veggie! What, veggie food isn't filling or enough? He needs to join our groups to see we cerainly do not starve! *lol* ~ PT ~ With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. ~ Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) ~~~*~~~*~~~> , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > " It's just not fair. Guest guest
I liked to read it to. If they did that in my neighborhood I wouldn't have no people living around me. I like that idea even better. Guest guest
Yeah, I don't think I'd have anyone living next door either.... considering one of my snarky neighbors that called the cops on my other neighbor last week because he thought their kids were playing too loud, that might not be a bad idea! *lol* ~ PT ~ We can always live on less when we have more to live for. ~ Stephen McKenney ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " paulvatoloco " <paulvatoloco wrote: > > I liked to read it to. Guest guest
I don't think you are an idiot at all. I agree with some of what you said... just not the part about us hippies. But I agree with how we need to share, be kind and open, show the good in our lifestyle to omnivores. That's why I started this group and keep it open to semi-vegs and omnivorous people who are interested in adopting some veggie meals into their diets. That's the best way to help them see vegetarianism: through the delicious foods we eat and enjoy every day. No, I don't want to live in a restricted community either. I love all types of people no matter what they eat so I will continue to share with everyone what is on my plate, like a good hippy idealist. ~ PT ~ My eye is my verse, My art is my whole vision. ~ Dallán Forgaill, " Amra Senán " ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " Mr.Graves " <sleepingtao wrote: most poeple were born and raised by > tried and true meat eaters, and came to the knowledge and support of > their change in paradigm, by another vegetarian who was wise and > kind enough to associate and befriend meat eaters- not people who > seclude those who are different or live in ways that go against > their own ways- if you really believe > in the ideals and reasons for vegetarianism, you should be happy to > be the one to introduce new options to meat eaters, because, if our > way is better and theirs isn't, then it is an issue of them not > getting the knowledge, support, and options to see that our way can > work for them too..
