This is a fun way for us to introduce ourselves to all the new people that have joined the past month, and also gives them an opportunity to jump in with a post intro. 1. What is your name? [computer username or real name~ you decide] 2. Where do you currently live? [be as specific as you feel comfortable with] 3. And just for random fun: Do you like bananas? What color do you prefer they are when eating them? I hope you all will post... you have all month to do so! And just for random fun: Do you like bananas? I love bananas, but they are a luxury food right at the moment. Earlier this year a cyclone went through Australia's main banana producing area and wiped out most of our bananas. We're paying 6 times the price for bananas now. I have a few in the freezer that I'm rationing out for smoothies. I really miss bananas. What color do you prefer they are when eating them? There is nothing so sweet as a banana that is a little " long in the tooth " and frozen! The perfect dessert and no fat. If you thaw it a little it almost seems like it's covered in sweet syrup! I love bananas. Color depends what I'm doing with them. If I'm chopping them for cereal - just slightly tinged green. Peel'n'eat - I like them yellow, but no spots or it's too sweet. Eating them in say banana bread, definitely spotty. Occasionally I'll broil them too, and they can be quite green then - just ripe enough to peel.
