Guest guest
This sounds good, too. If I lived near you I'd be 300 lbs! *lol* I am going to have to look for some of that Tones brand seasoning. Donna sent me up some of this smokey paprika from Penzey's that is just to die for! [thanks Donna ]. Now have you ever tried those chipotles in the can with the adobo sauce? Oh my, talk about yummy stuff. I am a heat-wimp so just a dab'll do me of that, but if I can't find the spice blend I am gonna try your recipe with the canned chipotles. ~ PT ~ With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. ~ Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > This is a wonderful Potato Chip Dip. Guest guest
You can find that seasoning at Sam's Club. It comes in the large spice containers. I imagine Costo probably carries them too, if you have one near you. I hear they carry very similiar items. We also use that Tone Southwestern Chipotle Seasoning on Fresh potaotes that I have cut up into large chunks(I like to rinse them after I cut them, to reduce the starch). Inside a large Ziplock Bag, I put in my Fresh Potatoe Chunks, a little cooking oil and some of this seasoning. I close the bag and mix it well. Then I pour it onto a sprayed Jelly Roll Pan and bake at 425 about 30 min. Check for tenderness and crispyness. You'll love this seasoning. A little goes a long ways. I'll have to look for that smoky Paprika. Sounds good. I haven't bought the Chipotle Peppers in a can before, but I will have to try them. Do they come whole or sliced? Thanks for your compliments. : ))) I love all the good recipes you are sending in also and all the other folks. This is a great list. Thanks for all your work in filing the recipes for easy access and having this list. There are lots of nice folks on here.
