Guest guest
Sunday Storms a blowin', sky's a fright the day's turned dark as as if by night The squirrels all hurry, fluff and scurry whirring with an acorn flurry Dress flies up, the book falls down pages wet and words all drown Into the garden, check the tree bandaged, bent, but peaceably The green explodes, out of the rain the darkened trunks and ivy vein Another day while Nature laughs dew and raindrops, rinse and baths June 4, 2006 PS to PT: Waiting for that " File " still a home for poets which to fill For poems do come, but should not go from Feral site where rhymes do grow Though Food is good for stomach's ache add Food for thought for goodness sake! ){a }{a Never tell a poet anything--they neva forget! Guest guest
Don't you worry, cuppa. I haven't forgotten either. *lol* I save all the digests and susie and I file everything away in good time. I am going to make a poetic folder very soon. Shawn [the other moderator] is being a big meanie now and instead of letting me file anymore recipes he is making me organize all the folders, and that is such a chore. He has good intentions though and reason for being mean. See we started an archive group so when our files here get too big we will have a nice storage place for all the recipes, and he is busy moving ALL those folders I am finished doing housecleaning with over there, and that is no small task. But enough of that.... I'm gonna go make a poet folder right now and email susie the file-princess and remind her to save, save, save your gems! Your poem is lovely, Very deep. And I have promises To keep! No time to snooze, Or just hang loose. Or else I'll sound Like Dr. Suess! ~ PT ~ None will improve your lot if you yourself do not. ~ Bertolt Brecht, 1933 ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " cuppa_2u " <cuppa_2u wrote: > > Sunday > > Storms a blowin', sky's a fright > the day's turned dark as as if by night > > The squirrels all hurry, fluff and scurry > whirring with an acorn flurry > > Dress flies up, the book falls down > pages wet and words all drown > > Into the garden, check the tree > bandaged, bent, but peaceably > > The green explodes, out of the rain > the darkened trunks and ivy vein > > Another day while Nature laughs > dew and raindrops, rinse and baths > > > > June 4, 2006 > > PS to PT: Waiting for that " File " still > a home for poets which to fill > For poems do come, but should not go > from Feral site where rhymes do grow > Though Food is good for stomach's ache > add Food for thought for goodness sake! > ){a }{a > > Never tell a poet anything--they neva forget! >
