Guest guest
Our questions of the week [qotw] for June 18th - 24th: 1. Are you planning any road trips or vacations this summer? My girls are going to our Seventh Day Adventist Camp this summer for 2 weeks for a Horse Speciality Camp and Horse Pack Trip up in the Smoky Mountains. At our church camp, they only serve Vegetarian meals. I am volunteering those 2 weeks in the Kitchen at the camp, and I know we'll eat very well. They serve great food. I love being camp staff at our summer camps. It is a ton of fun. I worked at them as a teenager and what a wonderful experience, full of memories they were. Then later on we are planning on going out to Yellowstone National Park Area to visit. Can't wait for that trip either. We've never been. Any tips about going there would be appreciated. We are members of AAA and they have great Tour Books for each State. We usually pick those up and find out interesting places to see, stay and eat in those books. Guest guest
We made the Yellowstone Park trip last September. AAA made up out " trip ticks " and made all the reservations for us. It was a splendid trip and we didn't have any problems. We went all through Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Northern Idaho and them back home here to Washington State. AAA booked us into fantastic motels the whole way. I'm a big fan of AAA. I've been a member for 30 years now. They always take care of all of our trips for us. They have never let me down. Guest guest
Your vacations sound so fun. I loved summer camp as a kid; my folks also were on staff at times. Good times for sure. Wish they served veggie foods there. All I remember about the food was that by the time meals rolled around we had been going full stop outdoors for so long we were ravenous and would eat just about anything and it tasted good. *lol* Enjoy every minute of your trips. ~ PT ~ Logic will get you from A to B.
