Guest guest Posted June 22, 2006 Report Share Posted June 22, 2006 Crock Pot -- Grandma's Vegetarian Chili This is a simple crowd pleasing recipe that can sit in a crock pot/slow cooker until it is time to serve. Recipe from: Jonathan. 1 can (19 oz.) black bean soup 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained 1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans (chick peas), rinsed and drained 1 can (16 oz.) vegetarian baked beans 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes in puree 1 can (15 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained 1 onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped 2 celery ribs, chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 TB chili powder, or to taste 1 TB dried parsley 1 TB dried oregano 1 TB dried basil In a crock pot/slow cooker, combine black bean soup, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, baked beans, tomatoes, corn, onion, bell pepper and celery.
