Guest guest
" I've never seen it in a jelly or jam. Usually they use pectin. Which toothpastes use it? I know Tom's and Jason brands do not use any animal products in their toothpaste (with the exception of propolis varieties). Most of the major brands test on animals anyway, so I usually stick with these brands. Most of the more natural ones say right on them that they don't contain any animal products. " For anyone who doesn't know, Tom's was just bought out by Crest, which does test on animals, so if you are avoiding animal tested products, Tom's is out, even if their particular branch of the company doesn't test. very disappointing, since now i have to find a toothpaste I like and that was quite the process when I switched to Toms. ~Rachael Messenger with Voice. Arrgh. That is frustrating. Be sure to send them a note regarding why you are no longer buying Tom's otherwise if sales go down they may think, " See, no one wants to buy products that aren't tested on animals. We tried it and it failed. " A bunch of products I used to buy recently got bought out by Unilever (Lipton tea, Bertolli Pasta Sauce, Wish Bone Salad Dressings). So annoying! Guest guest
Check the diabetic jellies and jams, those can have gelatin instead of pectin, though many are now using splenda-based products to hold it together. I'm trying to think of the toothpaste I used with it in it, it was a white tube, I think red container, not AIM or Colgate or one of those big brands. Um, started with a P maybe? Have you tried Burt's Bees toothpastes? No SLS either meg On 6/23/06, Rachael Whitney <rw1647 wrote: > > " I've never seen it in a jelly or jam. Usually they use pectin. Which > toothpastes use it?
